Privacy Policy

Effective June 21, 2026 · Version 2026-06-21

Introduction

TablePilot (“TablePilot”, “we”, “us”) provides an operations and food-costing platform for restaurant consultants and owners. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it and the rights you have under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and its implementing rules.

Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information — your name, email address and role within your workspace.
  • Restaurant & business data — recipes, ingredient costs, menu pricing, sales figures, inventory counts, daily and monthly reports, checklists and operations audits you enter into the platform.
  • Usage & audit logs — technical records such as sign-in events and actions taken in the app, used to keep your account secure.

How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • provide, operate and maintain the TablePilot service;
  • generate your costing calculations, reports and dashboards;
  • secure your account, prevent abuse and troubleshoot issues;
  • communicate with you about your account and the service.

Legal basis & consent

We process your personal data on the basis of your consent, given when you create an account, and on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing and securing the service, consistent with RA 10173. You may withdraw your consent at any time by deleting your account, subject to the retention rules below.

Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with trusted service providers (data processors) that help us run TablePilot — principally our hosting and database provider, Supabase, which operates on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure in Singapore. These providers are bound to process data only on our instructions and to protect it appropriately.

Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your associated business data is removed from our systems within a commercially reasonable period, except where we are required to retain certain records to comply with legal obligations.

Security

We protect your data with organizational and technical safeguards, including row-level security (RLS) that isolates each workspace’s data, encryption of data in transit, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard measures.

Your rights under the Data Privacy Act

As a data subject under RA 10173, you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • correct inaccurate or outdated information;
  • request erasure — you can delete your account and data from Settings → Danger zone;
  • object to certain processing of your data;
  • request portability of the data you provided;
  • lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (NPC).

International transfers

Your data is hosted on AWS infrastructure in the ap-southeast-1 (Singapore) region. By using TablePilot you acknowledge that your data may be stored and processed outside the Philippines, with safeguards consistent with the Data Privacy Act.

Children

TablePilot is a business tool and is not directed to children or minors. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date and version above, and where appropriate we will notify you within the app.
